8800GTS 512MB Help.

I just bought a 8800GTS 512mb XFX Alpha Dog Edition Card. (650/1675/975).


I want to buy a eVGA 8800GTS 512MB (650/1650/975) to SLI the two cards. My questions is can I SLI the two cards if they are exactly the same except the shader clock is a little higher on the 8800GTS. LMK Thanks for any help.

Make sure they're overclocked the same because SLI will dumb-down to the least overclocked GPU anyhow. It's a good idea to get another 8800GTS 512MB because it's faster than my 8800GT and overclock better, too. You're SLI setup will blow a single GTX 280 out of the water.:thumbsup:
