The GT allowed me to step up "into the world of 8800".
I would not spend $380 on a Video Card, and don't get me wrong, I am not trying to put it down.
I am still happy that it cost me ~$228, and if the performance is only 80% of the GTS, to me it will be more than worth it, for the price I paid.

The performance is 80% of a 700$ ultra...
The 8800GTS is 80% of the speed of a 8800GT. not vice versa. despite being more then 150$ cheaper...
8800ultra > 8800GTX > 8800GT > 8800GTS.

the new v3 GTS isn't out yet. I am talking about the old GTS. He said 380$ and thats the old GTS price.. the new GTSv3 is price gouged to 450+ last I checked.

You may get a bit more turbulence...which can lead to better heat removal.
