I know this was probably asked a million time but wondering if a 1680x1050 monitor is a good match for my 8800GTS 320MB. I know at higher resolutions the 640MB is the way to go, but this resolution seems to be just about in between, so wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with this setup and how it performs. My alternative is to stick to my 17" 1280x1024 monitor as opposed to a 22".

You'll be fine. By the time more graphic-intensive games come out, there'll be better options for you if you need more gpu power.

I would go with the 320mb. There was a review comparing the 320 vs 640mb models and even at 1920x1200 there was little difference.

My 7900 GT keeps up well on most stuff at 1680x1050. The 8800 GTS 320 will be just fine.

It worked fine for me, just don't plan on using 8X AA. AA is what really kills this card at higher resolution.

Yea, even my 7900GS 256MB does ok at 1680x1050. You'll have a good chunk more memory and a much faster GPU with the 8800.
