I am running on a complete bang for your buck system that I built back in August of 07.. no frills, no sli/raid, vista, just the bare minimum and the cheaper gigabyte p35 mobo. Im looking to do an upgrade and figures this is the one that sticks out the most, as I hear that this card trounces it. I recently was watching an ebay auction from a 0 feedback seller who's used 320 version sold for 155$ so it might not be a big deal considering the 8800GT can be had for $200 (i will only go with brands like xfx evga with warranties)

Complete specs are: e6750 (at 3ghz), 2gb pc6400, win xp home.. Would this be worth it? Or should I also look into adding another gig of ram? I am looking to basically increase fps and keep it more steady, i suspect my 320 version is holding me back when it comes to more intense visuals at 4x/16x and 1680x1050.

thanks for the input!

G92 GTS can be had for $225. Hot deals thread, but out of stock now at Newegg. Fry's B&M had it for $230. Newegg had an MSI card for $250 with a free copy of The Witcher. For 8800GT there's an MSI with a dual slot cooler that was as low as around $185. Keep your eye out because these deals will come again.
