8800gt + WoW @ 1920x1600 = ??

...but I just bit on the Soyo 24" LCD for $277 from Officemax. Rest of rig is as follows:

AMD 5000+ Black Edition @ 3ghz
2gb Corsair XMS
WD 250gb 7200rpm 16mb Cache
BFG 8800GT 512mb

I am assuming I'll be able to run full resolution with all the candy on. But would appreciate if anyone could throw in their $0.02 to confirm/deny.

Use to run maxed with my setup BEFORE this one in my sig which was a AMD 4600+, used the GTX then and now.

I would say your going to put a lot of stress on the single card if you run at those resolutions thats the point where you consider sli.

Agreed.
I ran BF2 on my soyo 24" with a 7900GS at max quality. You don't need SLI for dx9 and minimal shader efx.

I was running that resolution on my 24" Soyo with a 7900GS before I got my 8800GTS and it worked fine.
