8800GT vs SLI / Crossfire ??

Wondering if anyone has come across a review comparing the 8800GT to 8600GT(S) SLI or X2600 Crossfire.

Curious to see the comparison as price-wise these setups would be about the same.
 
only buy SLI for highend setups, otherwise chose a single fast card. The driver issues and bad scaling favors a fast single card to a SLI/CF setup in almost any case.
