9600GT's are down to 99.00 at some vendors. I think for the money, it is the best card out there. Lower power consumption and heat if that matters in your situation. If you do have a bigger budget, I would go for the 4850 which is about 150.00 AR. But they use more power and run quite hot.

Actually if you look around, the 4850 has been available for $150 after rebates and discounts before.
This brings about the same conclusion though, get the 4850.

I didn't know that. That's a darn good price for a card that beats a 8800GT! Too bad I can't do XFire on my motherboard; $300 for a pair of those would be hard to beat. Ah, to think I paid $300 for my 8800GT.This habit gets expensive, man!
