8800GT vs 4850

I'm gaming on a 19" monitor at 1280x1024 resolution and just recently bought a XFX 8800GT for about $110. A few days later the 4850 came out and it was priced at around $200. After reading a bunch of reviews it seems the 4850 is very good for its price and I'm starting to wonder if my purchase was worth it or not. Does the 4850 perform significantly better at this resolution?
 
first of all, the 8800gt for $110 is a steal. the 4850 isn't even close to 80% faster than an 8800gt, especially at your current resolution. keep the 8800gt until you upgrade monitors.
