8800GT Upgrade

I want to upgrade my graphic card from 8500gt to 8800gt. I'm not sure if it can fit into my case. I have 10" of room to fit into my case. Unless I modify my HD cage somehow or get a new case. Where can I get the exact length of graphic cards?

I also need to upgrade my psu to use the 8800gt card. I was thinking about Antec - EarthWatts 650-Watt ATX CPU Power Supply. Would this do?

Any suggestions?

The 8800GT is 9" long plus the length of the 6-pin connector/power cable sticking out of the back.

If the HD cage is removable you could move the HD to a floppy or 5.25" bay.

 
Card is roughly 9'' long, you might be able to get away with using your 400w PSU, what brand is it and what is the voltage on the 12V rail(s)?
 
650W is more than you need, if that matters to you. I would double-check and make sure that your case and motherboard will accept a standard ATX PSU. Once in a while prebuilt computers don't.

My brand is Delta 400 watt power supply (Part Number: 6506042RDelta 400 Watt Power Supply).

I'm not sure how to read the 12V rails.

A Delta-made 400W with 30A on the +12V should do fine for a 8800GT... Unless you're going to try overclocking that quad or something.

No, I just want to upgrade my graphic card. I wouldn't know how to OC, anyway. lol

I was just concern that it wanted a 425w psu for the 8800gt.
