8800gt sli vs. 9600gt sli?

9600 is a bit cheaper, but 8800 is a bit more powerful

which is better as a single card? i'm thinking about sli-ing one of these 2 but i may have to wait a little bit to get a 2nd one.

actually, trying to do a little more research and how would you rate these cards?

just how you listed them.

If you're SLIing, I'd pick up the gts for 229 each, or the 8800GT for 194 each.

two 9600 gt's in sli at 169 each is no slouch either.

9600 < 8800< 8800gts

9600sli < 8800sli < 8800gts sli

9600 OC sli < 8800 OC sli < 8800gts OC sli


8800GTS OC < 9600sli (assuming the game scales with sli)
