I'd get the ecs myself, or spend a lil more on a gt with an upgraded cooler, or a lil more than that on an evga/xfx/bfg gts. 8800gt cooler is NOT something I'd be willing to run in my machine for a significant length of time.

Be warned, I've heard a couple stories of failure with ecs rebates, so if ya go that route, make copies.
