These cards are supposed to have launched tomorrow (Monday), so order it a day early and pay a premium (rumor is a $250 MSRP, but we'll have to wait and see).

Clocks are 600/1800.

Includes Company of Heroes, according to this link.

There was a very limited supply of MSI 8800GTs for $230 @ clubit.com two days ago. Don't bother looking for it now, they've long since sold out and have been de-listed.

My advice is to just wait until tomorrow when all the etailers will have them in stock. You'll have to wait until tomorrow anyway for ZZF to ship your 8800GT.

Yea, I'm hoping some of the other sites will be selling the 512mb 8800GT cards for a bit less than that tomorrow or whenever they get listed for sale.

By tomorrow all sites should have them in stock and hopefully by mid week reviews should start popping up.

According to those reviews that are floating around this card beats the GTS 640 in most benchies.

Does this also mean that the GTS 320 will drop to the $199 area after the GT prices normalize??? Or, because of marketing nomenclature BS (GTS > GT) they'll leave it in the $250 to $280 range?

I ask because the Crysis demo is kicking my 1900GT's arse.

I would actually pay the $280 for a GT rather than pay $500+ for a GTX.

I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be a new GTS. I'd imagine the current GTS price will probably stay about the same until it is phased it.

hmm, I was uber tempted... but now that I have read a few of these posts, I think I will wait it out and see if I can get a similar or better card for $250 or less.

As interested as I am in the GT, I'm even more interested on how it effects the prices of the other models.

Even though it was overpriced, it still sold out.

I can't wait to pair up an 8800GT with my PS2 Deluxe!

Great for gaming , but I don't understand why these cards are crippled compared to the 8600 series in regard to HD DVD or Blu-Ray performance. See for yourself here.

On the odd chance that those reading this are using a bookmark to bypass the AT homepage, his 8800GT review is up. There's one b@llbuster quote that, if true, fits within the Hot Deals forum.

"Initially, we thought that the 256MB parts would be $200 and the 512MB parts $250. It turns out that we were mistaken.

Not only that, but we can expect the stock clocked 512MB 8800 GT to hit $200 at the low end."

Holy !@#$
