I'm just about to purchase an 8800gt card with my computer on cyberpower and i just wanted to make sure that the computer does not come with a ddr2 card. Can anyone verify whether or not the 8800gt has a ddr2 version or just a ddr3, as the last time i ordered from cyberpower they sent an 8600gt ddr2 card : /

Thanks

the card specifications determine the DDR speed of the card... that is why the 8800GT has DDR3. The 3850 has DDR3, and the 3870 DDR4...

Quite honestly it doesn't fing matter... all that matters is the final performance of the card. You know how the GT performs, buy it. And there is no such thing as differences in hardware in different stores... you can by it from cyberpower, newegg, frys, or a hobo in a back ally. As long as it is the same card it will have the same hardware. (with slight insignificant differences based on manufacturer, like MSI vs Asus vs gigabyte)
