8800gt/8800gtx with amd x2 3800+ stock

worth it will i get much more performance over the 7900gtx i have? i know i have to run games at high res in order to overcome the cpu limitations. but willl they be massive?

for example in crysis? i get like 30-50fps with everything on low cept post processing and physics which are on high and shaders at medium. at 1024x768. would i get 50 fps with everything set to high at same res?
