8800GT --> 460GTX... Update Drivers?

Hey Guys,

I am going to upgrading from an old MSI 8800GT to this 460 GTX in the upcoming week. I've checked my PSU and it will handle the new card easily. I have a C2D 6750 which I know will be a bottleneck. My question is: should I uninstall the current nVidia drivers (latest release) after removing my current 8800GT, install the new 460 and then re-install the drivers? I figure this would be the safest way to add the new card.

Any thoughts?

Uhh yes. Always. Never take a video card out without uninstalling the drivers.... Computer use 101. This goes for any type of hardware that would have drivers installed for it. You always want to uninstall the drivers before removing the hardware.
