if i were to purchase a 24in monitor soon, how will CS:S run with max settings?
i currently have a 1680x1050 and play cs:s @ 100fps with the system in sig with max settings... for reference.

You'll be fine - 1920x1200 is ~30% more pixels, so it's unlikely that the framerate drop will even be existent with VSync enabled.

Yea, totally fine as CS:S is from 2004. And I've been playing it @ 1920x1200 on a 9800pro (all low though).

Your frame rate will be fine...what you'll have to worry about is your mouse settings, changing resolutions takes some getting used to.
