It's been months since the 320 and 640 GTSs have dropped, does anyone have a clue when they might drop again?

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on either, but knowing my luck the prices will drop right after i do.

It's not like video cards have scheduled price drops... they're not like CPUs or anything.

For the record, I bought my 320mb 8800GTS at $260 AR and I figured that was a pretty good price.

Consider yourself lucky if you could get the 640mb for ~ 320 (or less).
Back-To-School sale is about to get into full gear for the next few weeks.
So may be your luck is nearer than you think.
I paid $295 (AR) for my 640mb version during the Memorial Holiday buying frenzies @ buy.com

Unfortunately Ati's late, disappointing and overpriced effort means Nvidia can keep their prices static.

Had their been some real competition, we might be getting some great bargains now.

Or...
Forgotten to mention our very own and beloved "Hot Deals" AT site, just one click away.

Yup, been watching all the sites, just getting a little frustrated. I haven't seen prices this static in years.

I have to agree it has something to do w/ ATIs disappointing releases.

If nVidia keeps selling cards at their current prices, I guess you can't blame them.

I'm sure you know by now that prices don't drop when you want to buy, but you can be absolutely sure that they will drop sometime after you have paid. :(
