8800 GTX: SLI Performance Review

It's a short review and they only run a few benchmarks, but they run everything except 3dmark06 at 1920x1200 with everything maxed and 4xAA, 8xAF. Bjorn is kind of cool because they sometimes show the min/avg/max fps on some benchmarks.

The test platform is interesting too in that they are running 4GB of Corsair DDR-2 Dominator 9136. That's $918 worth of RAM!:Q (If you can find it)

The money graph is:
We saw improvements in the testing ranging from just over 30% to just under 60% depending on the benchmark we used.
My conclusion is that it's just not worth an additional $600 to go from an average frame rate of 84 to an average frame rate of 111 in F.E.A.R.

They used 4xAA. As 16xAA has a similiar hit as 4xAA, it will be more than usable. Now add in AA modes like 16xQ with TRSAA.
