Just got my card at the local frys and put it in, but do to the fact that the card now has the power connectors on the side instead of the back they sit right under the 5.25" drive cage. In order to use this in the Qpack you have to cut out the bottom part ( if you only have 1 drive this shouldnt be a problem ) or buy the GTS that still has the connector on the back.

I assume you mean cut out the bottom part of the drive cage, right? I know its a silly question but just making sure. Imagine someone seeing this and starts hacking on their GTX. ::chuckle::
Btw, got a pic? I'm curious how it looks.

Interesting... isn't the 8800GTX longers than the Aspire X-Qpack case itself? I mean the Aspire X-Qpack is designed for Micro-ATX mobos...:frown:

I didn't see this one coming.

So, you gonna do the mod to the case, get a bigger case or return the card?

Well im keeping the card, Havent decided if im going to mode the case or just get a bigger one.

if It wasnt for the drive cage the card fits fine, theres about 3 inch left between the card and the front of the case. the way the power connectors are oriented on the board they now face up twards the top the case ( since or qpacks have the MOBO on the bottom ) and right into the drive cage. to get me by at the moment I have the motherboard tray pulled halfway out so the connectors are in the space between the powersupply and drive cage allowing me to plug them in untill I decide what Im going to do.

As far as what I payed at frys it was 650 plus tax.

Can you answer a couple of questions on the case please :)

Can a full PS fit in it? I was thinking of using the OCZ600EVO that has connectors seperate. Also I will going for the EVGA 6600GTS. I will only be using 1 HD and 1 DVD drive. Would the card still have a problem?

Thanks ;)
