SLI enable

Offers 0 performance increase at all, I'm really starting to freak out, can anyone help me?

What games are you running? Are you sure there's no performance increase (have you tried disabling SLI)?

Not every game responds to SLI the same.

3dm06, crysis, cod4, tf2, assassins creed, bioshock for starters.

When I enable and disable SLI, it still yields the same results, vsync does nothing, changing to af1/2 etc doesn't work.

Turn on your SLI indicator bar.

Make sure your game profiles are reverting to some kind of default video setting?

What is your CPU and what resolution are you running at?

Make sure you're not in single GPU-mode.

I've turned it on, it shows a bar on the left and it moves around
I've messed with game profiles no avail
e6600 @ 3.4

I'm thinking about sending these back to get one gx2 or something, this is retarded.

8800GTS 320, 640 or 512? At any rate, you should be using forceware 169.25's. Those are the latest WHQL drivers supporting 8800GTS (G80,G92) for Vista 64/32.

If the bar is moving, then SLI is indeed working and there's something else wrong. keysplayr is right, get the correct drivers.

Tried the new drivers, 3dm06 (example) jumped 1000 points, from 13k to 14k...and only because the SM3 test Canyon flight seen a huge gain, that's it. Everything else seems pretty much the same, not the jump I seen in reviews and expected.

Welcome to SLI.

There may be beta drivers that improve SLI for you, but I'm using XP32, so I can't help too much.

And don't expect Crysis to get much of a increase with SLI, I actually get worse fps with 2 cards than with one. It's not my setup, cuz I'm getting close to 18k in 3dmark06 when OC'd to 3.6ghz...

I've heard AFR2 is the best mode to run in, though.

My setup is almost the same as yours, except I have a E6600. You score 4000 more marks than me. Now I understand that your CPU is good for 3dm06, but 4000 more marks than me is pretty rediculous...

Dumb question. Did you enable SLI in the Nvidia Control Panel?
AND, Vista has some issues with 3DMark06. "Linked Display Adapters = False" which would indicate that only 1 of your cards is being used for the 3DMark06 test.

To see if you're having this issue, start the 3DMark06 program, then under the "System" section, click "Details".

This will bring up FutureMark SystemInfo Explorer.

In the "Direct Draw" section, you should see "Linked Display Adapters = ?"
Question Mark being a "True" or "False".

what do you have?

reinstalled everything, noticed improvement. Need to do some more testing after work, but all games are showing improvement now.
