8800 GTs on Newegg

I was just browsing around and noticed that the one that is clocked only 70mhz higher costs 50 more dollars. Just thought that this was ridiculous. Don't care if it's reposted, I'm too lazy to look.

I find over clocked video cards tricky with new games like COD4 and Crysis. Lots of overheating issues if you read the evga tech support forum. My 8800GTS factory over clocked over heats a lot. The 8800GT is suppose to run cooler than the 8800GTS and GTX's so it might not be a problem. Just something to keep in mind.

You know what I hate about buying video cards? It seems whenever I buy one, they're always malfunctioning out of the box. My 6800GT from BFG was bad out of the box (but still ran for a long time). I swear my eVGA 8800GTX is bad but I forgot to register it in the 30 days and I have to pay for Advance RMAs now 🙁. So remember to register your eVGA card!!

I used to have a problem with overheating.
No longer.
