8800 GT screen glitches

I have 2 EVGA 8800 GT cards in SLi on a good PC Power and Cooling psu. My case temps have never exceeded 50C, yet in every game at the beginning menu to the end I get a vertical line of garbage/random lines. If I disable SLi it is good to go.

Please help, I am new to SLi

specs:

vista home premium x64
EVGA 780i mobo
intel E3110 Xeon running stock
4 GB OCZ SLi ready ram at CAS 4
2 x EVGA 8800 GT 512MB

i run everything stock, no modding or overclocking/lapping/ etc.

50C = 112F
Pretty toasty case temps IMO..

Good point. Your case is way too hot, you're overheating your system in SLI.

The only reason turning SLI off doesn't overheat is because the second card is just idling.

Yea 8800 GT's in SLI need just as much fresh air as say, GTX's in SLI. Try popping side panel off and see what happens.
