i have a 8800gt in a standard casing. the side case got holes to put fan just right next to the 8800. ok what i know in air circulation in casing, fans that should be blowing out of case shloud be rear and top right? correct me if i'm wrong. but the 8800gt is single slot cooling and there is no way that hot air can go out from that case if set the side fans to blow in.

hello there!

okey i think im understand your question.

This choice is totally up to you, and how you want to meet your objective.

Test and try out both methods and see which one yeilds greater results. There is no wrong answer in fan orientation.

thanks for your reply sir. ok i get it. so now i just let the fans blow out i guess. thanks

yes, and play a game and check out temps.

Then flip it and repeat. Keep it the direction on the fan on the result which was the best!

Thats the easiest and most accurate way to find out!

I don't suppose you have the model of your case or a picture for us?

well i work at a computer shop. and i got it for free when one of my customers chage their casing and gave the old casing to us. at that time my casing is a bit old fashioned and i decided to take it. it's a standard casing with 2 space at the side case where u can put fan to blow to cpu and graphic card.

good lord, I wish there was a standard. EVERY teir 1 case manufacturer does their own thing and will do something different for different models in their own line-up. Cases are to computers what shoes are to women. There may only be a few types but, the styles are endless and some cost way more than they should.
