8800 gt aftermarket heatsink?

I am planning to get a 8800 gt evga very soon or when it becomes available. Well, I want to know one thing...i heard that the fan on the 8800 gt is VERY loud..and that is a problem since I am trying to build a silent system. Well do you think there are aftermarket heatsinks out there that will be quieter...i also want to overclock this card maybe to 720 or 750 so what is the best heatsink that is quiet and good? thanks

buy the new GTS which will come with a dual slot cooler... it will cost the same as a GT + heatsink/fan replacement, not void your warranty, and give you 16 extra SP to boot.

Best bang for the buck heatsink for the 8800gt would be the accelero s1, its $16 at ewiz.com
Just slap a 120mm fan on it and watch the temps get cut in half.

I was wandering if Accelero S2 fits the 8800 Gt, because the S1 is not available in my city. I do know that the Vf1000 from zalman fits 8800 GT but is very expensive. The best choice would be thermalright hr-03 Gt, but again it seems expensive. Some people used the old Vf900 but it doesn't manage to handle the heat very well, but is very quiet and better than the original cooler.

Any good brand will accept aftermarket heatsinks as well as overclocking, EVGA and XFX allow both and will still be full covered under warranty. As long as you dont physically damage the card they will replace it for you if it fails.
