The boards:

1. abit ic7 max3
2. asus p4c800
3. dfi lan party

I want overclockability
Stability with 1:1, 5:4 and 3:2 ratios
I want to run my raptor, 80 gig jb drive,pioneer dvdrw, and dvd drive without slowdowns or problems-no raid
i will run what ever ram it takes (i have a stick of 512 corsair xms3200 cas 2 now)
I want to lose my barton 2500+ and nf2 setup

IC7-MAX3 is the best performer out of the rest on that list and maybe the "best" now for OC...If u can spend 215$(cheapest ive seen w/FREE shipping at Allstarshop)then u have a nobrainer decision

i did a lot of reading and also decided on the max3.
will probably use the new ocz pc4200 dual el
 
yeah i just purchased a max3 today
i'm waiting for it to ship to my house now

that board just looked cool even tho i will prob never use the raid or secure ide
also if you don't mind you can save a lot getting just the regular ic7 or save a little bit getting the ic7-g
the ic7 is like $100 cheaper than the ic7 max3
 
Ive seen reviews on the max 3 compared to the ic7 and ic7-g.
the max3 is faster on all of them,
also it keeps the chipset cooler, and provides more voltage adjustments than the ic7 or g.
and should OC higher,especially using the new OCZ 4200 ram
