So there's one more male than female or vice versa. He probably assumed you were intelligent enough to figure that out, apparantly he was wrong.

Edit: Coming from a guy who thinks it's cool to intentionally misspell a word in his username, this is kind of ironic.

Can it be ment there are 873 males and 873 females? Maybe it was a trick question like if you have a jet crash on the IL IN border where do you bury the survivors.

I cant see how you can evenly devide an odd number especially since were talking people and you cant cut them in half (well you can, bit mess, and the cops dont like it much) so I am thinking your reading half into it and there are 1764 total people evenly devided into 873 in each group.

OR maybe one of the female is el'prego with a boy or girl?

I tend to think that since the surviors know too much about the crash, I choose neither and think burying them next to the toxic waste in the nevada mountains would be best 😉
