8600 gt - problem with counter strike 1.6

I have a big freaking problem with my gpu - a 8600GT. Whem i'm playing Counter Strike it's not moving smooth, although i constantly have 100 fps. I have tried all possible settings, but with no results. Is there any program that i could use to change other settings, except the Nvidia Control Panel?

Does it happen if you set up your own server and play? From memory you can do that with CS 1.6?

I'm thinking internet lag problems if that makes it go away.

I remember my 9800 pro played CS 1.6 buttery smooth at insane resolutions, heck, I think it was smooth, albeit at a far far lower resolution and settings, with my Voodoo2 and oc'd celly machine!

1. I have same problem at new game.
2. The problem is not from internet . The latency is 20 .

What are you specs?

What do you mean by not smooth? Is it hitching? Are there pauses, if so how long?

Simply, I just can't play. Is just like i had 30 fps..it's awfull, I can't explain in words. The problem is that my system is much better that is minimum recomanded .
