86-DOS - The humble OS behind Microsoft's Empire

The first URL has some interesting details that I haven't read anywhere else. Seems Seattle Computer Products were the ones who contacted Microsoft first for their 8086 "PC". And obviously Microsoft screwed them over by buying their OS for only $50,000 and went on to make billions just selling MSDOS.

I started with MSDOS 5.0 and the last I used was MSDOS 6.2 but very briefly as Windows 95 got released and then no one cared about MSDOS and Windows 3.1 anymore.
