850xt to 1800XT review

Finally a unbiased person writing a review *shock*. Nice results pretty typical I presume but shows the power of the card imo with AF and AA applied.

I havent seen much review with a direct comparison of the X1800XT to the X850XT. Looks like the XT is faster ~50% at higher res AA/AF.

Good review, really shows how much improvement ATI has given us with the X1800XT over the X850XT.

But this is a jump in generations - I didn't expect any different which leads me to ask why he would review those two cards?

It helps people that are still using last gen cards to make a decision whether or not they should make the jump now, or hold on until DX10 cards come out.

Bah, holding until DX10 is just another form of saying "wait until next gen"... with that attitude you'll be waiting forever.

I am not dismissing the usefullness of the review, but most of it seems like common sense really.
