8500 considered outdated?

I think the R8500, especially the retail 128mb version (275/275), can still handle anything out there at the present time as long as you've got a half decent CPU behind it. I actually bought both of mine AFTER I had already purchased my 9700Pro and 9700np. Didn't think much of it at the time, but I was pleasantly surprised that they ran just as well as my faster cards provided I kept the resolutions reasonable and didn't bother with FSAA. I actually prefer my 128mb R8500's over my 64mb ti4200.
