850 evo performance

Hey Guys , Instead of buying a 960 evo which is overkill and too expensive for me, can my 850 evo handle really intensive work loads? like video editing, just slower performance?

Of course the 850 EVO can handle video editing. Now will the 960 EVO be faster for that task? Yes. However, are you just tinkering around with editing, or do you do it professionally? And if you edit more than casually, then in my opinion I think you should pull the trigger.

A hard drive can handle HD video editing. I really dont understand why everyone assumed SSD's are like a breakthrough in Quantum Mechanics or something. I guess the industry is doing a really good job with the Hype machine.

In any case, HD Tune says my 850 can read at 450 megs per second, which obviously is pretty damn great. But those are benchmark scores and I've noticed real world performance doesnt always match up.
