850 quick picks. The odds are still against us but I wonder how many of these people would quit if we won.

How many millions? Split between 85 people doesn't sound all that appealing.

Since The odds are 1/175,711,536, does that mean the odds of 850 tickets is now 1/206719? 3.17 million would be a nice payday. :p

How pissed is the owner that he employs people who willingly throw away money to such horrible odds.

The owner is not pissed if the employee quits. He would if he is not in the pool.

How pissed are the other 84 people going to be when the person who paid for the tickets claims that the winner was one he purchased for himself and not part of the pool.

How is it throwing away? SOMEBODY has to win. And if they enjoy the "sport" of it so be it.

I love vegas. The gamblers subsidize my cheap rooms and entertainment. I usually stick to my free slot play (video poker) and 5-10 dollar buy-in games with friends. Odds are also much better in vegas then in the lottery.

They actually have a scanner now where you buy the ticket. So just swipe 170 tickets under the scanner.
