Limit 2 for the rebate.
$85 after $50 rebate, free shipping, with emailed coupon code at Newegg.
10% OFF All SSDs* (72 HOURS ONLY!) Code: BTEKEHG28
(You must have received this single use coupon code from Newegg)

Almost bought one yesterday. 99.99 AR without the coupon still seems like a good deal. Has built in Trim (good for XP users). 3 year Warranty.

Try NEWCUSTOMER10 for $10 off if you did not get the targeted email SSD coupon.

Why not put two drives in one order?
*Up to a maximum discount of $75 per order. No minimum purchase required. Limit one use per customer; may not be combined with other promo codes or combo discounts. Only available while funds last. Expires 5/25/2011 or SOONER based on fund availability.

ah i guessi read it wrong, seems it not a max of $15. its 10% off (i thought it was like 15% off max $100, since the other coupons seem to be off a maximum of $100 purchase)

I guess a couple other decent deals are the , C300 64GB for $100-10%, and the kingston 64GB v100 for $100 - 10% - $25 rebate if you dont live in CA. kingston 128GB v100 for $189.99 - 10% - $60 rebate as well.

this is what i hate about newegg, it gives me sales tax envy. a deal has to be super hot for me to bother because of tax (like the 8gb pny is hot enough). DAMN YOU CA and your sales tax to pay for govt waste.

IMO the 128GB V100 for $111 AC/AR (86.7¢ per GB) and the 96GB V+100 for $85 AC/AR (88.5¢ per GB) are the best values. The 128GB is cheapest per GB but the V+100 may be the better performing drive.

Some scary reviews of that V100. It has a JMicron controller, right? Is the Toshiba controller of the V+100 preferable?

By the way, the 96GB V+100 can also be had with a desktop/laptop kit for $10 more.

yeah the V100 drives do not seem to be particularly fast. the v+100 at least seems competitive with older indilinx drives etc.

If you read the manufacturer's response to the Newegg reviews, looks as if there was a firmware issue that has since been resolved.

Yes, the V+100 seems to be a more robust controller, especially for use without Trim support.

the firmware update applies only to v100, not v100+. This SSD is currently OOS, but you can get the one w ext HD enclosure, and 3.5" rails for $9 more, which is not a bad deal, either.
