840 Evo to 850 Pro?

Hey all.
So kind of a loaded question I suppose. But do you guys
generally think any noticeable performance increase can
be had by going from a 1 year old 840 Evo 512 to an 850 Pro 512?

Running as the only hd on a system primarily used for gaming.
 
Been there done that, no perceptible difference. Unless you are doing something very disk intensive, then maybe you might notice a difference, but for gaming a normal desktop stuff, nope.
 
Alright thanks, guess I'll stick with my 840 for a while..toss that ithcy upgrade cash in the pot til 3xx/980 ti show their head 😀
