You can tell by the republicans running than even republicans know its a no-win 2012 election.
I mean really... Trump? Romney? That weird suck-up lady from Alaska?
Or that lady with the eyes that freak out the kids and pets?
So.. Pew Wee Herman wasn't available?
I still think republicans should re run Bob Dole.
I mean, he's been there before. He has that way of holding an ink pen.
And at least he still knows how to comb his hair.

2012 from the republican side reminds me of some saturday night live skit.
Except for the tragedy that hundreds of millions will be spent on this dog show.
Millions that could maybe find a cure for breast cancer, or Aids, or diabetes.
Really too too sad...

I think I heard that too recently. Some poll or another that the talking heads on cable news shows were discussing.

Are you sure it's not "half of registered voters would not vote for Obama" and not "half of those who voted for Obama would not re-elect him"? Because that would make some sense.

TBH, I don't exactly remember the specific 'wording' they used when reporting on the poll.

Googling got me this: http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2011/03/half-would-vote.php

Which is "half of registered voters would not vote for Obama".

But I can't say the other isn't right to. Too lazy to google more :)

Yeah I saw that, which would yield a drastic difference from the other wording. I'll go out on a limb and say the other is not right. Obama has 80% support among dems. I'm not even sure that if every other person not in that group who voted for Obama switched their votes, if that would be enough to make it true. And that sure isn't the case given his approval ratings among independents. In any event, it's up to the person making the claim to present the backup, not me to disprove it, so if anyone finds such a poll we can discuss it then.
