I'm just about done with my CUSL2-C setup... would i have to install any chipset drivers like VIA mobos... or can I just start off right away like BXs...?...i'll be running WinXP by the way... just wondering if the chipset support was already built in like the BX.

I think they are built into XP. They are in ME also. Win9x and Win2K do not have them.

Usually the MB manufacturer gives you a floppy or CD with the 815 inf's
on it for older OS's like Win9* and ME...........Greg

I know for a fact that Windows 2000 needs em to (I have 42 Deskpros from Compaq and well they did not include one restore CD) so were using one bought copy to reinstall (the cdkey is a sticker stuck to the comp), so it is legal. Well I had to burn a CD with some 815 drivers on them including Audio, Video and chipset. Windows XP rather does not need them and I am anxious for SP1 to come out so the school district will invest in Windows XP (took them till SP2 with Windows 2K :))

I'd still check Intel's drivers and see if the versions are newer than the ones that come with Windows. If they are, use them instead.
