80's heavy metal- cans full of hair spray, leather pants. Cheesy music videos. Good stuff.🙂

 

Only good one is "The Safety dance" because, if a remember correctly, they have midgets. And as everybody knows, midgets make anything cool and funny.

(since I was just listening to his new CD) Bryan Ferry / Roxy Music videos for "Avalon" and "Slave to Love" were pretty good, one or both directed by Ridley Scott I believe.

A-ha's "Take on Me" and Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" are classic bits of animation.

Kate Bush's "Cloudbusting" with Donald Sutherland is a nifty little short film.

So yes, there were some good videos in the 80's, back when there weren't any rules yet and "Girls just want(ed) to have fun."

that Aha video is definitely on my top 5 list of best 80s vids...don't forget "micky micky, you're so fine" and "video killed the radiostar". They may not of had the best vids, but the songs from the 80s are the best!
