okay, this is a totally crap explanation but... it's kind of a ballad that I've been thinking of (I don't even remember if I like it, I just really want to hear it again)... starts out with a guy singing and then a girl kind of 'responding' to him. It's kind of a 'fvck you' to each other and then they make up in the middle of the song.

Like I said, a totally crap explanation, and I have no idea why I am thinking of it, but either way... somebody has to know Just toss some lyrics out there or song titles if you can. It was definately a popular single, but aside from that... hell if I know.

ozzy and lita ford did a "ballad" sorta like that also, but it is even more "Rock" than the meatloaf song

Nope, that Meatloaf song wasnt it. It is too 'fast'... the song I'm thinking of is more of a Depeche Mode type of voice/rythym (i think)... if that helps any.

Don't know if this is part of the song... but it's something like "I saw you when you walked in the door" and then the girl repeats the same line over to him in her line, then changes the rest of her lyrics to tell her side of the story.

Human League was one of my favourite bands back in the early 80's.

I remember they were basically the originators of synthpop. They were followed by bands like Depeche Mode, Yaz, OMD, etc.....
