80mm fans with no threads??

Very noob question. I'm doing my first build and I tried to pick up six Coolermaster fans today for $10. But when I saw the fans I realized that the holes for the screws did not have threads ... how do you install them if theres no threads? do I have to buy a separate nut or something??? I didn't get them b/c of that plus all the fans had 3 pin connectors, which would have forced me to buy adaptors for them too. Help??

The screwws make the threads for you. They are purposely made that way to hold better. The more you screw screws (lol) in and out, the "snug fit" will be reduced. Which models you get?

I actually didn't get them, I didn't get any fans this time. It was a Coolermaster Value 6-pack. Oh well, my loss - I'll just keep my eyes open for better deals on fans. Besides I would have needed to buy adaptors for all these 'value' fans.
