never really thought of going to walmart to get puter stuff but they are haveing a big sale today on puter stuff they are blowing out thier remander of 80gig harddrives for $50.00 with a $20.00 mail in rebate, and sony dual layer external 16x dvd burners for $100 and they also have 17" lcd's they are KDS for $135 there were like 7 of them and not any one even looking at them. Not really a hot deal that is why I am in here but you know what not too bad to me...also something that stuck in my head was some creative labs external usb sound thing for $15.00...

OP: Personally, I won't buy a WD HD, no matter how cheap. Well... maybe free =) My local walmart has Seagate HDs. I also wouldn't buy the KDS LCD, unless you're OK with something that's not going to be perfect. It'll probably be acceptable, but I don't know for sure. More reaserch is needed. And $15 for the USB soundcard is decent, I bought one for that, use it every day on my laptop and have no complaints.

I was just at Walmart, and I was looking at those very items. They were VERY not priced like that, the HDDs were in-line with normal pricing, the LCDs were $100 more than you state. The only LCD in the entire place with the price you quote was the DISPLAY UNIT which was DIRTY AS FVCK and out of the box. It looked like someone had spilled coke on it. Twice.
