I had come up with another deal for this....

$129.99 80gb HD
$ 69.99 IO Magic CDRW 48x16x48
$ 3.99 10 pack Jewel Cases.

$203.97 Total

-$1.99 Instant on Jewel Cases
-$30.00 Instant on the CDRW
-$40 off $200 Floating around

$131.98 total out the door

-$20 MIR on the CDRW
-$40 MIR on HD
-$3 MIR on the Jewel cases

$68.98 Total after all rebates!

Not bad for a CDRW and an 80gb 7200 HD... I'll be doing this at midnight and will let you know.

*EDIT* I'm off by a buck on the Jewel cases so add $1 to the totals.

It's in next week's flyer (12/29/02-1/4/03). I see one problem /w getting both the cdrw and the hd for $70. I haven't ordered from OM before, but I assume the Instant Rebate is deducted before you can apply the coupon. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was just thinking this... DAMN. Well I guess you could just get the CDRW and HD for ~$80 with a $30 off $150.?!?.

Does this drive have an 8MB Cache? or just 2MB? Can't find any info on the product page that tells which model it is.

Hrm... wondering if it would be better to get this, or the 60GB 7200 with 8MB cache that is on sale for $60 AR at CC (or is it BB?)...

Hmm, the "$25 off $100" web cpn doesn't seem to be working for me.
I upped my order >$150 and was able to apply the "$30 off $150" cpn though.
I even tried creating a new user account at OfficeMax.com to test the $25 off cpn.
It just ain't workin for me. Is it working for anybody else?
:(

I have had the same problem with the $25 coupon. I can't get it to work with that deal. That is why I am edging toward the CDRW with it.... That and I need them both. :)

*EDIT* Same problem with the $20 off $100 :(

Still seeing the cdrw at $79.99 with a $20 rebate... Where is the $69.99 with $30 instant and $20 rebate? Anyone have a sku# for it..?

For the 120gig drive it seems like the $30 of $150 coupon won't work because it says it expires 12-31-02 and the $50 rebate says it is only valid from 1-19-03 thru 1-25-03.

Anyone know of any other rebate forms that might have a different date? or do you think that coupon will get extended or anything?
Thanks.

Ok, given my earlier post about the "$25 off $100 cpn" not working but the "$30 off $150 cpn" still working, the following will theoretically be do-able once OM update's their web-site w/ their advertised prices:

- Add the 80 gig HD for $129.99 (w/ $40 rebate) [item #20063681]
- Add the 100 pack of CD-R media on sale for $23.99 (w/ $20 rebate) [item #s: 20068784,02236903,20150694,20187245] (02236903 is the only one I can find on-line, all others are IN STORE only)
- Apply the $30 off $150 cpn
- Get the $40 HD rebate
- Get the $20 CD-R rebate
Total: $63.98

Comes out $1 less than the originally posted price (which is $64.99 I believe, not $64), but you do need to pay sales tax on an extra $23 item. Basically it's a wash; however, you do get an extra 100 pack of CD-R media (although you do have to hassle w/ 1 more MIR)

*EDIT* The 100 pack CD-R media is on sale for $22.99, not $23.99.
(It's either $39.99 - $17 instant rebate -or- $29.99 - $7 instant rebate).

syf3r: the sku# is 2018-6898.

downer: I've seen some $30 off $150 that supposedly expire 1/31/03.

Man I don't see any CD-R's for a good price, nor do I see a $69.99 - $30 instant CDRW drive. Man all I see is a $79.99 IO Magic 48X burner. Hmmm this stinks. :(

Probably their website is not updated. Ad on page 1 shows a I/OMagic 48x16x48 CD-RW at $69.99- $30IR - $20 = $19.99.

Rebate

Also, CD-R Spindle 100-pack, 2.99 after rebates

$39.99 - $17 IR - $20 MIR. Items #20068784, 02236903 (Imation 16X)
$29.99 - $7 IR - $ 20 MIR. Items# 20150694, 20187245.

Models may vary by store. Limited to stock on hand, no rainchecks. B&M only.
