People will immediately crap on IBM Drives.

My 6 cents:

I've had three IBM DeskStar drives - the 75GXP, the 60GXP, and the 120GXP lines. 40GB, 40GB, and 60GB respectively.

All of them have performed above and beyond expectations with absolutely no faults or failues.


As with everything in this world, however, YMMV.
