80gb HD read only as 20gb after power outage

I was running KillDisk on a 80gb HD when the power strip was flipped off. After rebooting, KillDisk still read it as 80gb, but the BIOS, Windows XP install and FDisk only read it as 20gb. Prior to the power issue, the computer read the HD as 80gb.

I am sure there must be a simple solution to this issue, but I must just be too tired to formulate a good Google search (or think of the solution on my own).

You help is appreciated!!!

(BTW, the HD is in a 2004 Dell Precision 360.)

Download the util from the manufacturers website for whatever one it is, seagate, wd, etc.
They have software that can restore a drive to factory conditions.

Try to delete all partitions, then create it/them again.
FDISK or GPARTED would be better.

LOL - Now the BIOS and FDISK do not even recognize that the drive is there.

What a clusterfvck. I am going to throw in another HD I have and deal with this POS later.
