yeah but youll void the warranty... why dont you just buy an enclosure if you already have the 160.

Excuse me, but what do you mean by a key?
 
Is this about the best deal I'm likely to find for an external hdd? I was thinking of an enclosure but only the cheap ones can help beat this price... it think.
I have an 80gb hdd that I got for about $26 AMIR from OM, but a good enclosure costs, too.

I don't think this is available now.
 
I have an 80 gig external. It works great with the possible exception of the cooling fan, which has become unbearably noisy and high-pitched as of late. Probably needs to be cleaned.

Yeah, they rock. I use it to store files I don't need blazing-speed access to but that I don't want to put on CD for one reason or another. (e.g. my mp3 collection) I also use it to take files with me on trips, swap with friends, etc.
