Yes it has an HDD, a very roomy 14MB HDD which by todays standards is pitfully small but in actuality, it's IS large, especially if it's only text since you can't view images on this system (it's that old). IBM XT 8088, purchased in 1984.
Nothing wrong with not being able to view images, most of my machines are text only. What OS does it run? DOS? What did you use it for whan you got it?
