802.11b vs g.. is g worth the extra money?

For sharing a DSL connection with a few computers... b would not cost much, is it worth going g for the exta many many more dollars?
 
No you don't need g for internet sharing, but g is not much more expensive the b. G would be more for transferring files internally (LAN), in which this case, I'd take g over b anyday. 😉 But if all you want to do is share the internet, b would be fine.
