I have an Orinico RG-1100, and I have horrible problems with it dropping the signal when I simply leave the room. Have you any recommendations for me? It is used for a few people with laptops that have no computer knowledge, so I would like to have something more dependable so I don't get called every day.

please help!

what kind of cards do they have?

I have the same AP. I have one laptop, a Sony with a sohoware card that anywhere outside of the room only gets 50% or less coverage. My roomate has an iBook, and he gets 100% coverage anywhere in the house.

The titanium G4s are known for low wireless range...in fact at the macworld keynote Jobs specifically stated that the new powerbooks now have the same range as their iBook line. If you can possibly test at all with a different notebook/wireless card I'd try that. Also you might want to try and position the wireless AP as centrally as possible. Are the walls concrete or wood or?
