802.11b/g Antenna for a Mini PCI card on a laptop?

With a soldering iron. Seriously if you do not have a built in external antennea port then no. I have a mini-pci card in my IBM R32 and there is no ext. port. So I am SOL. I was looking forward to building my own antenneai .

amphibious, depends on the card. Some cards/laptops abuse some MiniPCI pins and carry the RF connection through that to a connector on the motherboard, others have mini connectors on the card itself. Sounds like you need to find a card in the latter category.

Yes, there are come cards that you can buy extensions from (ei; for Wardriving they have attachments that you can drape out the car window), you will need to buy a card that has an extension slot and then buy a antenna or wire extension.
