So I finally upgraded my WRT54G. My 3yr old, knocked it down and then knocked my HTPC on top of it. Broke it all to crap. Only 1 antenna left but it worked....somewhat.
Got a TP-LINK Archer C9.
Just wondering IF there would be a difference in throughput speeds between 5 or 2.4 GHz using 802.11N.
I have a 2008 iMac and a thinkpad T400 both using 802.11n.
Since they are both N, maybe it doesn't matter?
I only have 1 802.11AC device. A Intel dual band wireless ac 7260 2x2. used for the office computer. WOuld it be better to have this the only one using the 5GHz band? this is the one that gets used the most.
thanks!
