8013 Client and P4?

Anyone had a chance to benchmark this combo? My father has a P4 and I would like to know what increase I can expect next time I get over to his house.

Sorry Jay, but not very many of us can afford to buy a P4, and even less are actually willing to buy one.😱
 
Hmm, it'll be another week before I get over to my dad's to test it out. By then, this beta version will have expired. Hope a new one comes out before then. 😉
 
I have been running the beta. Speed seems lower than normal (9.7 instead of 10.1 Mnodes/sec, but they fixed the stupid crashes that made me dump the 8012 client weeks ago. Perhaps after they take out some of the "beta clock watching" routines, it will speed back up.
It seems very much oriented toward RC5 in the menus.

Jay, I don't have a P4, so I'm really not much help on that. It is stable, but it looks like the same cores.
